Relatives identified both victims the next morning, January 22. Autopsies found that each had suffered gunshot wounds. No reporting linked their lack of clothing to the killers; they had spent days in the water, where decomposition ordinarily accounts for this. The assertion that the couple had been stripped is not supported by reporting. Later accounts said five juveniles, aged 15 to 17, were arrested over the killings, while an adult defendant entered a not-guilty plea. The full story:

Two corpses were found floating in the river in Puerto Pital David, in Wednesday afternoon.
The boy was 18y.o. and the girl was 14y.o.

After hearing the news about the found bodies, their relatives went in, at night, to the Public Ministry, to know if those were the people missing from their families. But it was not until Thursday morning that both families recognize their loved ones.

They were dating

According to preliminary investigations, the youngsters were having an affair, and both disappeared last January 18, on the boy's birthday. Since then, their whereabouts were unknown.

The authorities assume that they were murdered and later thrown into the river.

Shot

The autopsy revealed that the boy and the girl were killed with a firearm and they had been dead for not longer than 2 days. The girl was shot at least 4 times and the boy was shot 3 times, both to the head and the chest.

Assistant

The boy worked as a bus assistant on the buses of the Panama-Chiriqui route and the girl was a student at the school of Primer Ciclo Estados Unidos de América. The authorities are investigating the case to clarify the motive and the murderers.

1. They tried to run away from parents, who didn't seem to accept their relationship, got involved with something sinister while they were on the run and...

2. Kidnapping. Someone or even more than one scumbags took them and held them as prisoners until they were fed up with them and decided to kill them

Thats a shame. They look good as couple too. considering the country, its either drug related or love triangle killing. about the hair, was she already bald like britney spears when she was killed or was she shaved by the hating killer? if that was just two days ago when found, i doubt her hair would shed like that quickly.

There was this One kid that liked that one girl but knew that there was no chance of him getting with her since they where in love so he got his friends to help him murder both.
