Cop Shot Himself in the Head with a 9mm Gun
A 52 year old Thai cop often had a quarrel with his wife (38 or 39). During these quarrels he sometimes grabbed his gun to shoot in the air out of frustration. According to neighbours and family the quarrels were fueled by jealousy from his part. After the latest quarrel in the evening of June 2 he drove away from the house to return pretty intoxicated around 00.30 am on June 3. He slipped into a rage and shot his wife in the back, who was later transported to the Hospital where she fell into a coma. After he shot his wife he pulled the trigger on himself placing a bullet into his own head. during all this a load of other relatives that slept in the same house fled from the house. The family lived with his wife for about 10 years. His wife is a sugarcane farmer. When police arrived they found his body lying face down, bloodied in a towel without wearing a shirt, being shot in the head. Two 9mm bullet casings hells were found on the couch and the gun on the bed. |

Re: Cop Shot Himself in the Head with a 9mm Gun
If the investigating officers are remotely competent it would be extremely difficult to stage this suicide. Just standing there beside him would interfere with the blood spatter patterns as would trying to walk through the crime scene to leave the room. Besides an angry family member would not likely have the presence of mind to pull off a really good staged suicide. Regarding the pistol being flung across the bed a fired gun jumps back with recoil energy equal to that of the fired bullet so if you have the gun to your own head the recoil energy will slap your hand back away from your head and potentially send the gun flying as your grip goes limp and your arm drops. Holding a gun properly and firing slowly the recoil isn't all that noticeable on a Glock 19 but to see "uncontrolled" recoil look at some videos of full auto Glocks that will give you an idea how much they actually jump during shooting. |
