In La Unión, Valle de Cauca Department, a man murdered his ex-partner by decapitating her with a machete in the middle of a public street.

The woman, identified as D.C.S., had been taken by the man, H.d.J.S., to La Unión. Apparently, D. had gotten tired of being with H. and she decided to flee from him, only for H. to follow her with a machete in hand.

H., who had previously been charged with domestic violence, has been arrested.
