Colombia - Prison Riot Fire Leaves Many Dead + Injured
In the early hours of 28th June 2022 in Tulua (Colombia), a fire at a prison left many dead + injured. During a riot, an inmate set fire to a mattress. The guards attempted to put out the fire, but were unable to. As they waited for the fire department to arrive, they evacuated as many prisoners as they could. 200 prisoners were inside pavilion #8 when it went up in flames. At least 57 died + 27 were left injured.                  The next day,

Our jails should be like this instead of holiday camps. ONLY for serious offenders like repeat murderers, pedophiles and those that don't indicate whilst driving.  |

The way you put this post together.... Not even a tiny bit short of a masterpiece! Best "visual story" I have seen here - Ever! Starting with the "oh well, that might be all for now"-pictures from far away, through the horrors of the inside of the prison, the gut wrenching foot injuries, the guy with the nuked-out arm, the anger of the friends/families, and finally the despair of the relatives left behind. Simone, the best little "gore (not quite a) fairytale" I have seen, since I started out in 2003... "And the Dundee for best gore story goes to...."  |
