But India brought in the turtles and the water is not as polluted now, but still the cremation fires burn 24/7 and the ashes and remains end in the river, if you ever see any documentaries, I know it was featured in Death : The trip of a lifetime a series aired on PBS here. I was hoping to go study there when I was done with my tour in Pakistan, but we got pulled out early.
