Matthew Brady, famous Civil War news photographer took this photo, but not before posing the body (you can see it's been turned over) and placing his (Brady's) own rifle on it.

I have read up on this. Apparently there is video footage from an overhead alien spacecraft that corroborates this scenario. It's true! I read it on the internet.

They did this during the time period, to give more emphasis on the pose.. Creative license. Many famous pics were posed during the civil war. At least that is what the aliens told me.    |

The exact same rifle shows up in most of Matthew Brady's photographs, and he wrote later that he would "Dramatize" the photos by adding "props.' As for the turning over, riger is set in a classic "face down" position- the hands are exactly where they would rest if the body was face down. As for staging the photos, we should not judge Brady too harshly, photography was still pretty new then. |
