City Council Candidate Assassinated in Yard
A pre-candidate for City Council in Bom Jardim was shot several times in the head on the eve of the formal announcement of her candidacy in the election as a member of the Christian Labor Party. She was allegedly on the way to her car to drive to her formal announcement when unidentified gunmen shot her several tomes and left her dead in the yard. No suspects or motives are yet disclosed. Nice to see she got all dressed up for her announcement. :/ |

No motive yet known? I guarantee you her opponent is owned by the cartel and they wanted to take her out before she even had a chance to announce her campaign. I am especially pessimistic about positive change in these countries because the good people, going the proper route of running for office, are just assassinated by cartels.
