Thanksgiving is only celebrated in the US and Canada, we have something similar called Harvest Festival. We donate money or food to the elderly or poor but we don't have no turkey dinner thing. Christmas turkey is almost as iconic over there as those absurd paper hats. My wife is from Surrey and even thousands of miles from home, she still manages to find those ridiculous hats every December.
