Chinese Woman Fished Out of Water
Chinese crime scene and morgue personnel seem to posses far fewer scruples (or far less fear of reprisal) than their Western counterparts. If you know the right channels to follow, it is actually quite easy to get them to sell you photos from both the crime scene and the morgue. I don't buy and sell these images myself, as I have done plenty of 'real world' business with the Chinese and they very rarely come out behind in business dealings. :P But a member of the site provided me with some of the images to post here. The Chinese are not especially good about providing name and location details, or even details about the COD. I suspect it helps them keep from getting caught. In any event, this is a series of hi-res images from a recently recovered 'drowning' victim. No age given, nor is there an indication as to how long she'd been in the water. Not long, I'd suspect. Floaters tend to bloat and get eaten by fish fairly quickly. Her corpse is largely intact, so I doubt she was in the water more than a few hours at most. I also see some possible ligature marks around her neck in some of the shots, and there is an article of clothing wrapped around it in the first image, so it is highly possibly that she was strangled and then dumped into the water. I haven't done a lot of research about drowning, other than knowing that if the foam is pinkish or bloody, that is usually because the lungs filled with water while the victim was alive and damaged the alveoli. The foam being aspirated here doesn't look pink or reddish. Which means she may not have been breathing in water and was already dead before going in. But man, I really don't know. :/  |
