Chinese man in Cambodia stabbed to death whilst eating at a restaurant
On the evening of 24th December 2018 at the Meung Mei Ly restaurant in Boeung Trabek commune (Cambodia), a man was killed. 46 year old Q.S. was eating a meal with his new girlfriend 32 year old S.K. + her mother, 56 year old E.M. 'S's estranged husband, 39 year old K.K., a military officer, arrived on his motorbike. Seeing his ex with her new boyfriend enraged him + he stabbed 'Q' to death. 'S', + her mother were injured when they tried to stop the attack + taken to the hospital for treatment. The police are on the hunt for 'K', who escaped on the motorbike. He apparently had a shotgun with him.                         |

Ouch  Chinese restaurants in general tend to be extremely popular in all sorts of communities, so maybe jealousy and desperation for making a living were the driving forces behind this killing. Just speculating though, I'm stuck in the "why?" phase kids go thru hence often like to play with different scenarios.

Very surprised that a man walking into a Chinese restaurant was not greeted with a shower of cleavers. The whole kitchen in a Chinese restaurant is nothing by knives.

The murdered guy is Chinese but his wife is most likely Cambodian.

Ok first off, that is a Khmer restaurant, not Chinese. The family is all Khmer. It's unclear if that first photo is the victim guy when he was younger, but if it is, he is Khmer too. According to the chatter on the video, the wife had / has a young boyfriend and wanted the husband out the way. If the assailant was a ranking military officer, he will 'never be found'.
