A liar does not a murderer make. People's unfounded and media-influenced personal opinions may operate on that plane, but the justice system doesn't work like that.

The prosecution even changed their story mid-trial, saying the murder weapon could have been chloroform or could have been duct tape. COULD? If the state doubts their own case, why shouldn't the jury? Once you even raise the notion of "could have", the notion of "proven" goes out the window. The state's case is riddled with inconsistencies. Their own witnesses have lied on the stand and they cannot get an expert to testify that there was any homicide at all, let alone homicide by Casey. If you knew nothing else about the case, that would be enough to raise reasonable doubt.

To convict someone of murder, to sentence her to death, in a case with NO DNA evidence, with NO identified cause of death, with all of our advanced forensic science in this day and age and in this country is not only illogical, it's completely unjust. We're better than that.

And yes, I am watching the trial now, just like I have since it started. I want to see this through, and I am nervous. Very. She did something very wrong!

I'm not saying that she was a good mother or even a good person. Of course Caylee deserved better than being born to a troubled too-young daughter of parents who wanted to deny Casey's pregnancy altogether as well as cover up Caylee's tragic death. The whole family is profoundly messed up, and that may make them guilty of failure to report an accident to the police, or guilty of desecrating human remains, but it doesn't make anyone guilty of murder in America thankfully. The state had ample time and resources to come up with some hard evidence and they simply couldn't. If Casey walks free and gets killed on the street for being a "liar and a slut" as Baez put it, it may be karma. But it has nothing to do with upholding the integrity of our judicial system.

Yeah she's a dumbass too - the heart on her child's mouth is a personal touch that a random killer would not give a fuck about doing. It spews emotional connection. Aside from that did anyone follow it on Foxtel in the early days when they were playing the recording of the grandmother reporting ' the car smells like something died in there' before she knew her daughter was going to get pinged for it. If you want your freedom back - adopt out your child, don't effing kill it

The heart was destroyed at the lab during testing, so it could not be used at trial.
I have to say that Baez screwed his client over right before he rested. He had some weird vendetta for George, and it was so evident went he used his last chance discussing how Casey was taught how to bury her house pets and implicated Casey!
He is outta his ever loving mind!
