Re: Cattle Truck Crash

euthanized? so they inflicted death upon them selves? i really hate the use of this word instead of saying put down or killed. euthanasia is when you elect to be killed, or end your own life, not when somebody else does it without your consent.

You are wrong. Animal euthanasia is different from assisted suicides. Because they are just animals and do not have a voice of their own, it is up to the vet staff to assess quality of life.
Animal euthanasia (from Greek, meaning "good death") is the act of humanely putting an animal to death or allowing it to die as by withholding extreme medical measures.

Re: Cattle Truck Crash

So, "The driver died at the scene and some animals had to be euthanized due to suffering sustained from injuries"! Do you think the driver actually died in the crash or did he mistakenly get caught up in the euthanasia business

Re: Cattle Truck Crash

Was it a 'moo'ving truck? Sorry. Really bad I know. Those cows are prob better of being 'euthanized' than where they were headed.
