Cartel Execution Photos Circulated After the Ciudad Mier Killings
This 2010 photo set circulated with a caption claiming it showed the Gulf Cartel executing Zetas who had killed children in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas. The children referenced are almost certainly brothers Bryan and Martin Almanza, aged 5 and 9, who died on April 3, 2010, when their family's SUV was caught in gunfire on the highway near Mier. Mexico's National Human Rights Commission concluded the boys were killed by army fire and that the scene was altered, contradicting both the army's grenade account and the cartel caption's framing. I sure hope they build the fence along the border soon! And keep that crap and the whole lot of em down there where they can just keep on killing each other!  |
