Cartel Execution Photos Circulated After the Ciudad Mier Killings
A caption accompanying this 2010 photo set alleged that the Gulf Cartel was executing Zetas responsible for killing children in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas. Those children were almost certainly 5-year-old Bryan Almanza and 9-year-old Martin Almanza, brothers who died on April 3, 2010, after gunfire struck their family's SUV on the highway near Mier. Mexico's National Human Rights Commission found that army fire killed the boys and that the scene had been altered, disputing both the army's grenade explanation and the cartel caption's account. I sure hope they build the fence along the border soon! And keep that crap and the whole lot of em down there where they can just keep on killing each other!  |
