Carnival Ruined by Jealous Rage
The neighbors said that all she could talk about for weeks was how excited she was for the upcoming Carnival holiday in Brazil. Every year, her husband took her to celebrate and they had a great time. She had been telling everyone that she was looking forward to it. Unfortunately for her, the husband had other ideas. Seems his rage was triggered when he saw her walking around with another man. Rather than get an explanation from her, he called his best friend and neighbor and hatched a plan to solve the problem more permanently. So Ralph and Ed decide to work together to send Alice to the moon once and for all. They got together and started drinking rum with her on a Saturday night. Once she was half in the bag, the neighbor got the party started by stabbing her several times in the chest. The two then fled the house, leaving her stunned and in agony on the sofa. They made it as far as the street when the husband worried that maybe the job wasn't done properly, so he ducked back inside...grabbed a different knife...and stabbed her several more times while she lay screaming on the couch. The screams alerted the less murderous neighbors, they alerted the coppers, and the dastardly duo was caught almost immediately. Too late for the wife, though. damn....what a way to go, especially since she seemed so pumped to go with her hubby. If only he asked for an explanation. I guess she will be missing these festivals indefinitely...

I know. It's shallow and all, but it's even sadder to me when a person is killed in their home and the house is a shit box. It's like it just strips the victim of dignity even more. :(
