Happened within less than an hour likely, they were all laying down likely due to headache and nausea. The woman who died in the bathroom probably felt close to vomiting which is why she's there.

Any sources? An AC unit typically doesnt use air from outside, so I call bullshit. I may have misread something though, convince me otherwise. |

No, of course it doesn't because that would completely defeat the whole design of A/C. But forced air systems do have intakes inside the house. I'm guessing that maybe the garage was originally an interior room that was later converted to a garage and the idiot who did it didn't bother sealing off an intake.

There was no technical details on the system with the report so I don't know. But I suspect this is a split system and maybe the garage was built afterwards and nobody thought about moving the intake. But it’s hard to guess without some details, there are so many versions of AC systems out there and guaranteed some of them are installed by monkeys.
