An accident occurred early Sunday evening (02) left a cyclist killed in BR-415, in front of the restaurant Los Pampas, on the road Ilhéus - Itabuna. José de Avaci, age unknown, had invaded the track and caused the collision with a car.
According to one of the victim's friend who also witnessed to the tragedy, the victim was earlier drinking in a bar in Parque Boa Vista neighborhood: "He was riding drunk," she said. The driver of the car fled the scene but right after called the police claiming that he was afraid of the popular reaction: he also volunteered to testify.

yup I'd have to say cyclist's fault here, right knee hit the bumper by the looks of it, My guess is Car hit the front wheel which squished it then the guy carried on "following through" and then the bumper hit his knee and he landed probs a few feet away from the contact zone.

Maybe he flipped up and hit the windshield with his knee. It doesn't really look like his head hit it and the winsdshield is cracked inward.
