A car caught fire in the early morning on Sunday (06/09), around 7 am, the curve of the Twin EC-366 on the banks of which gives access to Varjota in Santa Quitéria.

Four occupants were in the car, one was thrown free and the other three remained trapped in thre wreckage. The fire ended up spreading rapidly and burning the occupants that died on the spot.

The State Highway Patrol was at the scene and forensic expertise was called to remove the bodies. Several other accidents followed in the traffic caused by this accident, leading to more injuries and fatalities (not pictured).

p.s. i'm pretty sure I've seen a video of this today, i'm going to see if I can find it again.

Hopefully the guy that got thrown died on impact. Hate to think he burned plus was bleeding out.
