I only drive small cars. With a big vehicle, I can't tell how much car is in front and behind me. My car takes a front end and side hit well! I've been a crash test dummy and it does what it's supposed to do. The front end stops at the crash or crumble zone.

My car was totaled. I only had brush burn from the airbag on my chin and nose and a bruise on my left shoulder from the seat belt. Mine tighten up to hold you back.

I believe when your number is up, it's up, no matter what you choose to drive.
