Car Accident Involving Two Vehicles Leaves Five Dead
On Thursday 25th September, five people were killed in a serious accident involving two vehicles in the municipality of Bahia Correntina (918 km from Salvador), Brazil. According to information, the candidate for state representative was in a Renault advertising his campaign and a woman identified as a pastor of the Assembly of God Church plus the driver of the vehicle. The Renault carrying three occupants overtook a car and collided head-on with a van carrying bananas. Upon impact, the three occupants of the Renault were killed. The van that was carrying four people had two deaths, the driver and a passenger. Two other people who were also in the van were injured, among those were a pregnant woman and a 4yo child who suffered minor injuries and were sent to the Municipal Hospital in the city of Correntina. The cause of the accident is being investigated. |
