Car 1, Pedestrian 0

Victim of a fatal hit-and-run in Cameron County, TX, US. A 37-year-old woman was walking home when she was struck and killed by a motorist during poor weather conditions.

The impact was so strong that her body was thrown into a ditch near the roadway. The reckless driver claimed she thought she struck an animal, hence why she kept on going.

Cameron County is the southernmost county in Texas, and borders Mexico.

Sounds a little bit off to me. I'd stop even if I knew I hit an animal, not just to check it, but to check my own goddamn car, maybe that's just me, but idk.. shady..

I'll bet she felt like an animal at the moment of impact.

Re: Car 1, Pedestrian 0

here's an alive pic.

Evidence was presented in court that Marisa Govea Hernandez was on her cellphone from 6:56 PM till 7:15 PM on February 28, 2015, the night Mary Tipton was struck.

The video shows that impact was at 7:11 PM so this means Hernandez continued to be on her cellphone nearly four minutes AFTER her car struck Mrs. T.

Way more about this bit bizarre case:http://brownsvilleobserver.blogspot....h-of-mary.html
