Obviously didnt want a long painful death so decided take his own life by breaking a glass and slicing his throat and wrists, sure he could of found a less painful way

Sadly, this still happens often because of cancer pain. My wife is a pain researcher and she tells me how little canced research is being done for the pain. Even after surgery and the cancer is gone, people tend to suffer from horrific pain.
