Cambodian Man Stabbed to Death
In Siem Reap, at around 9pm on 23rd April 2018, a 49 year old man was stabbed to death. The body of the car parts seller was found the next morning. The security cameras had been taken by the murderer. Investigations are ongoing.              |

*****UPDATE***** The man was called Pin Samnang + he was 43 years old. On 4th May, the police held a press conference + announced that two men have been arrested. Before the robbery + murder, the perpetrators went to the victim's home on the pretext of applying for a job. Then on the evening of 23rd April, they returned to the house around 3am, where they knocked on the door + called the victim. When he opened the door still half-asleep, the 2 men attacked him with a knife + slit his throat. The two suspects, who were arrested on 3rd May, are 24 year old Suy Long Long + 33 year old Mao. From a news article yesterday (11th May 2018) it states that the landlord, 28 year old Prom Sophrek (IN BLUE SHIRT, LAST PHOTO), was wrongfully arrested by police on 25th April for the murder. Despite the real murderers being arrested on 3rd May, Prom wasn't released until 7th May. He was understandably very upset + was badly treated by the police. He said that the mistake has caused shame + embarrassment to him + his family. He wanted to file a complaint to the police for wrongful arrest, but his family stopped him. They had to pay a lot of money to get him released + do not want further trouble.             3 days after I originally posted this thread, 'suspect_zero' posted a thread on this story too. That thread had some additional photos so I thought I'd post them here too so they're all in one place. These photos are shown below, as well as a video.       |
