Cambodian Girl Electrocuted During Lunar New Year Celebrations
[Translation copied from some Cambodian Website] Siem Reap: Khmer New Year in 2017 It is observed that there are a lot of brothers coming from various provinces to visit Siem Reap for three days during the Lunar New Year, there is no accidental incident Noteworthy is the celebration of the celebration, only the fun of both national and international guests, but unfortunately at 11:00 pm on the 16th. This is the end of the festival. A surprise took place in the Pub Street area of Siem Reap, where the fun became sad when a 14-year-old girl named LMR died of electric shock. The incident occurred at the front of Angkor Herb Massage and Baray Spa Massage in Kandal Village, Svay Dangkum District, Siem Reap City, Siem Reap Province. According to her sister's death, before the incident, her sister arrived at the scene and handed her to the metal pole at the door of both houses, her brother was nearby and the fire was discharged. Tearing her sister to the corridor, they took her to a local hospital in Siem Reap immediately but could not save because she was already dead. Not satisfied with family, sister sent to Royal Hospital, but everything was too late, and she was born in the commercial village of Chbar Mon City, Kampong Speu Province. The bodies are given to the family to perform in traditional festivals. We extend our condolences to RIP. |

Re: Cambodian Girl Electrocuted During Lunar New Year Celebrations
I'm sorry to disagree with you, friend, but life owes us NOTHING. We take what little we're granted and be thankful for that. That's why you don't wanna waste your time away. If you have a dream-live it NOW. If you love someone-tell them NOW. Don't put everything off til later, 'cause you might not have a "later". Rest peacefully, sweetie, you looked very happy...and all of us can only hope and pray for that much. |

Re: Cambodian Girl Electrocuted During Lunar New Year Celebrations
I believe Cambodia celebrates their new year by dousing one other with water..as do a lot of southeast Asian countries..known as the “water festival” to wash one sins away for the new year..I wonder if the “water” might have been a factor contributing to her death..as you can see her feet are pruney as if she was standing in a puddle of water |

Because she smiled when her picture was taken? On that logic the world is full of happy people - what a wonderful world.
