Cambodia - Young Lady Strangled by Her Lover in a Guesthouse
On the evening of 8th May 2019 in Prey Veng (Cambodia), the body of 25 year old P.S. was found in a guesthouse. She had been strangled to death on the bed. The 30 year old suspect had rented the room with 'P'. When paying for the room, he stated that he needed it for an hour. When the hour was up, the man left the room alone. The staff were suspicious + went to check the room. There they saw 'P' dead on the bed. The police were called. The suspect was found + arrested on the 10th. He claimed that 'P' was his lover of several years. They had met at the guesthouse to discuss 'P' divorcing her husband but she refused. The suspect admitted to raping, robbing + killing 'P'.
