There are shots available, but once you start having symptoms it's too late.

The shots must be gotten BEFORE you show any symptoms, but even then it only works 50% of the time.

Ya, I just came across her post on FB and she's confirmed dead. RIP.

I was not aware you can die from rabies like that. This will make me avoid stray dogs/animals now when I travel.
