Cambodia - Man Killed His Wife
On the evening of 30th May 2019 in Kratie province (Cambodia), 52 year old Y.M. was killed by her husband, 49 year old P.P. 'Y's lifeless body was found by neighbours, who called the police. 'P' tried to escape on his motorbike but the police caught up with him + he was arrested. Neighbours state that the couple often argued. I'm not sure exactly what happened as the translations are hard to understand. It seems like she was beaten to death but it's also said: "the husband pulled a steel rod to remove the nails, about seven feet long, to his wife in the right shoulder, causing death on the spot."

My take on it is that he was doing some DIY + accidently walloped his wife with the crowbar + it killed her. I'm probably wrong though!
