Cambodia - Man hanged himself for missing the birth of his child
At 10.30am on 18th April 2019 in Siem Reap (Cambodia), a man was found hanging from a tree. 38 year old L.C.'s pregnant wife, 41 year old H.E., had gone to the hospital to give birth. Later that day, 'L' went out for around an hour + on his return, he found his wife had given birth. 'H' told him that the doctor had told her that she had to have a c-section. 'L' was very upset at missing the birth of his child + by the next morning it got too much for him + he left the hospital. Soon after, the police came to the hospital to tell 'H' that they had found her husband dead; he had hanged himself from a tree. According to 'H', 'L' used to be violent towards her + he was also addicted to drugs.

He climbed way up that tree. Makes me wonder what he was thinking as he kept going higher. Closer to God? Many people think that.  |

I really have to say I'm impressed that at last we have someone who obviously felt so full of heart and loving emotion that missing the birth drove him to death. He loses points for not being of ultimate value to his daughter by remaining alive though. Still, makes a change from the selfish bastards who kill their own women and children, or just don't care if they run somebody down. |
