Re: Cambodia - Man Accidently Kills Himself
Well, I think it's actually pretty clear! Let me give you MY interpretation: "The man knife fish but fish have pistol with 30 rounds, so fish object in hootenanny manner, take away man's fish food, and stab him in the eye. Man grabs fish pistol, but it explodes, blowing can of fish food up in major imbroglio, and taking off man's hand. Fish are indignant. I think that's pretty much it. I DO know that there were no squirrel elements involved. |

Re: Cambodia - Man Accidently Kills Himself
He extracted gun powder from thirty of those crackers (tom thumbs ?) and was using the butt of the knife to tamp it into a can. His intention was to do some dynamite fishing, but I guess he tamped too hard and this was the result.

Re: Cambodia - Man Accidently Kills Himself
I agree~ I have heard of people using everything from cherry bombs to actual grenades to stun or kill a lot of fish at once....bringing many of them to the surface to collect. In theory, this lazy man's method seems easier than using a pole & getting one at a time. I guess this guy didn't think it through. Like, maybe it's not smart to tap a metal can full of gunpowder with a metal knife...possibly throwing a spark or two & igniting the gunpowder within. |

Re: Cambodia - Man Accidently Kills Himself
This is what happens when you sufficiently piss off a fish. I've seen it happen before.
