Re: Cambodia - English Man Died from a Heart Attack
Well, I don't KNOW that to be the case. But in all the postings in here, there are a lot of Brits and German men who go to Cambodia, and when you look at the pics, most of them look to be in pretty bad shape, and in some of the posts, they mention AIDS or Cancers of various kinds. Because the guy is wearing a Cambodian type of skirt, I would wonder if he suffered from rectal or colon cancer. Again, there is no way of knowing for certain, but you have to put forward the reason they would travel to Cambodia, and that is the only real obvious one that I could come up with - terminal illness, resulting in a lot of pain, and a preference to visit a place where you can buy pain medication with virtually no limits. I could be completely incorrect, however. |

Re: Cambodia - English Man Died from a Heart Attack
Places like Cambodia are relatively cheap places to live I think. That's why it tends to attract the down and out, sick, and elderly, and those who have burned all their bridges back home. Kind of where you go when you have a small pension or savings and nothing else in life but to await death. Sad really.

You may have hit the nail on the head. A very good set of scenarios for winding up in Cambodia |
