Cambodia - Australian Man Hanged Himself
On the morning of 17th March 2020 in Chhouk district (Cambodia), 60 year old S.A.N. hanged himself from a tree. Before committing suicide, 'S', an Australian man who had lived in Cambodia for the last 2 years, had set his belongings + house on fire.

Or just as likely you fell on very bad times, perhaps in serious debt, or have a serious illness that was terminal. These can drive people to end the pain.
