Cambodia - 48 Year Old Woman Found Hanging from a Mango Tree
On 4th December 2019 in Banteay Srei village (Cambodia), the body of 48 year old C.N. was found hanging from a mango tree. She had committed suicide. It's stated that she had 'mental abnormalities'. On 1st October this year, 'C' was in the news. The article stated that she was a 'mentally ill woman' who was travelling alone in Stung Sen. She had approached a man + claimed that it was her long lost husband. She hugged + kissed him but the man claimed that he didn't know who she was. A relative of 'C' was called + she stated that her 'C' had a bad memory + had never been married.

Re: Cambodia - 48 Year Old Woman Found Hanging from a Mango Tree
Simone, What an interesting article! So many hangings, and without the back story I find them boring. But here you found photos of her begging a man to accept her as his long lost wife! Look at the guy's face ... priceless. So sad ... I have a couple of siblings with severe mental illness, so I know when the brain is not right, then almost all is lost. Thank you for your excellent research and posting for all of us to read. |

Re: Cambodia - 48 Year Old Woman Found Hanging from a Mango Tree
PS, I've never had a woman beg me face down on the ground! Wish I had met this lady first! We could have lived under a palm tree happily ever after.

Yes, no mangoes were harmed during the lashing back and forth during the hanging procedure. Mangoes lives matter |
