Re: Cable Guy Electrocuted
Due to the massive amounts of blood coming from his ears and elsewhere he suffered a open skull injury.(lots of brian swelling) even in places with stellar emergency health care the odds of him being a becoming a potato are high. I blame the internet |

Re: Cable Guy Electrocuted
The only safety gear that he would've used is a safety lanyard. Might've saved him or fried him further. Hard to say. Been in telecom for years. Had one tech get hit from the main power line from vines that had grown on the pole.. When he made contact.. It knocked him out. Another was on a trouble call for digital tiling. He thought it was the cable drop so he cut it at the house... Blew him 5 feet back and knocked him out. The neutral in the electrical drop had shorted and the entire house was grounded from the cable drop. He was fine.. A bit shaken. But everything in the guys house that was plugged in... Was on fire or smoking. Dude was a gamer too... Tvs, computers, multiple gaming consoles were toast. |
