Bus and Truck Accident, Tarlac Again
Happened in a very often accident prone area in Concepcion Tarlac Philippines. Jan 30 2019 4 DEAD 50 HURT as BUS slams into rear of Container TRUCK on SCTEx CONCEPCION, Tarlac – Four people were killed while 50 more were hurt when a tourist bus rear-ended an 18-wheeler truck along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) in Barangay Santiago here on Thursday morning. Authorities said the bus, which was carrying mostly government employees from Cavite, slammed into the rear of the cargo truck at about 5:20 a.m. M V, supervisor of SCTEx traffic control room, said the accident happened in front of the PTT gas station at about 5:20 a.m. Police said all of the other passengers of the north-bound bus sustained injuries and were brought to different hospitals. R I, North Luzon Expressway-SCTEX traffic management and safety head, said all of the bus passengers sustained minor injuries, 3 were initially seriously hurt and 4 confirmed dead on the spot. The seriously injured were brought to a nearby hospital. Those seriously injured later succumbed their injuries. He noted that the bus which was coming from Cavite was carrying government employees. Ignacio said that initial investigation showed that the bus slammed into the rear of the truck.
