Bus Driver shot dead whilst robber pretends to be dead
A Francisco Araújo driver, known as "Chicão," 51, was killed during a robbery of a bus of the 450 line of the company São Pedro, the night of this Thursday, at the entrance of the Avenue Noel Nutels, Cidade Nova, in the North Zone of Manaus. Chicão left a wife, 5 children and 2 grandchildren. According to witnesses, two armed bandits entered the bus and after a few minutes announced the assault. A police officer who was in the vehicle reacted and, in the exchange of shots, the assailants shot the driver in the back. One of the robbers was shot and pretended to be dead ( damnit can someone change the title please) until the arrival of an ambulance from the Samu. The other managed to escape. Witnesses said he was also shot.     |
