Residents of the Fifth Centennial neighborhood in Santa Cruz Cabrália, discovered a shocking crime yesterday morning, Tuesday (25/02). A man's charred body was discovered in a local football field..

The body is awaiting examination to determine if the victim , 22, was burned alive or if his body was burned after being murdered.

It had been discovered that the body had at least one gunshot wound. The body was recognized by a sibling.


In police records the victim had tickets for armed robbery and drug trafficking. The latest arrest occurred on Feb 1, but the bandit was on the run from the police station.

According to the police, the victim also used to be violent with locals and was much feared in Santa Cruz Cabrália.

He was born in the city of Mascot in southern Bahia and lived in the same neighborhood where he was executed.
