Re: Burning the Dead in India
I think it's much better than putting diseased bodies in the ground. Imagine those millions of buried diseased corpses festering in the ground. Then look at this cheap (and entertaining) way of cremating. I think they are the sensible one's. The western world is so full of crap we think we have it right and everyone else is wrong. But that ain't necessarily so. |

Re: Burning the Dead in India
Not odd. Only odd to western culture whom finds death apauling, tragic and devistating. Eastern culture has it right, preparing for death in a graceful way. Sending off with utmost respect.

Re: Burning the Dead in India
its just cremation, only much more intimate. personally it makes more sense then acres and acres of graveyards.

Re: Burning the Dead in India
Indians ARE DIRTY, they bathe at the ganges river next to bloated dead corpses that have been festering for days or weeks. Not to mention they drink cow urine and worship rats and snakes. |

Re: Burning the Dead in India
wach to their own, u only bloat up and rot in the ground anyway, this is no worse than a cremation our way, but im guessing their way is a little smellier and cheaper !!!!!!!
