Buried Body of Kidnapped Teacher Found with Decaying Face
On 26th April 2019 in San Rafael del Yuma (Dominican Republic), 35 year old J.A.C.D.L., a P.E. teacher, was kidnapped during a fake police check. Witnesses in a minibus told the police that they had seen 'J' struggling with 2 men dressed as the police. Later that day, the kidnappers phoned 'J's family + demanded the sum of one million 500 thousand pesos for his release. They had until the 29th to pay up. On 2nd May, police confirmed that the body they found gagged with tape around it's head + buried, in Los Morunos, was that of 'J'. Police found 1,500 pesos in cash in his pocket. 32 year old F.M.V. was arrested. As was 29 year old R.T.C., 28 year old M.M.E. + 32 year old Y.D.M.G.

It's probably his child's name + date of birth.

Re: Buried Body of Kidnapped Teacher Found with Decaying Face
Why does his face look like that when the rest of his body still looks fresh?

Re: Buried Body of Kidnapped Teacher Found with Decaying Face
His face was wrapped up in tape so that may have sped up the decay - moisture maybe?

Re: Buried Body of Kidnapped Teacher Found with Decaying Face
Well, compared to most of the body (except for a few areas such as hands, feet, elbows, etc), the skin/tissue is quite thin, so it usually is one of the first things to decay. |

also the face wasn't interred, meaning it was subject to more temperature fluctuations. a buried body is generally cooler.
