Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

Damn. I guess there really is a million different ways to die.

I thought there were only 1000.

Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

All of life is timing.

And death, it appears.
I always say, "Timing is everything", and there is no such thing as a timely death.

Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

I am in the old car hobby, and I read a news clipping of 5 people in an open touring car that ran into a hot ladle rail car, filled with molten metal, and it tipped over on them and incinerated them. This was in either Chicago or Gary Indiana, in about 1922 or so. I wish I knew more details and could find the clipping.

Wikipedia has a list of train crashes. There are five listed for 1922, but, none in either of those cities.

Maybe the link will help you remember. Good luck!

Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

the description does not fit the pictures. boiling hot tar dries smooth. boiling hot tar sticks to the skin. boiling hot tar does not rake away as shown in the pictures.

it looks like a pile of chipped, dried tar or a shit load of charcoal chips buried her/him alive. those special boots look like regular rubber boots that would melt in high temperatures. the truck does look like an old piece of shit and not the type that would keep tar heated.

i dont blame Sharon though
itz hot asphalt, they just did our streets this week. u can smell the tar they mix in, nasty stinky stuff.

Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

Oh man, that has to be a shitty way to go out... Suffocating to death, buried under a couple tons of asphalt,, no thanks, not me. I'm going to die the only responsible way to die,, in front of the cameras so you guys can watch.

Re: Buried Alive In Tar/Asphalt

Now you poster ought to learn how to describe or make your titles... Tar brings to mind sticky black liquid... I see no tar there. lots of asphalt pellets maybe.....
