Initially a robber armed with a pistol would have surrendered a family in Bairro Vila C, where he would have stolen the Ford / Ranger truck, of white color and fled at high speed. Rapidly the victims informed the PM, and a police vehicle that was traveling to meet the incident encountered the burglar in flight, thus initiating a tactical follow-up.

Already at Fiorino Brol Avenue, between Bairro Cidade Nova and Bairro Três Lagoas, behind Furnas Substation, the assailant reportedly collided with a utility pole, abandoned the truck and fired several pistol shots at the military service police , where an exchange of shots occurred, ending with the seriously injured assailant.

Suddenly, the military activated the Siate (Integrated System of Attention to Trauma and Emergency) of the Fire Department, but with the arrival of the first responders the assailant was already without signs of life.

The place was isolated until the arrival of the Judicial Police (Civil Police, Scientific Police and the Legal Medical Institute). The assailant's weapon was seized. After the proceedings, the assailant was identified as 21 years of age. The body of the assailant was sent to the IML morgue for the procedures.

It is reported that the assailant had already been arrested in the city of Rolândia / PR for the crime of drug trafficking, when he carried 25 kg of marijuana in the year 2017.
