Can't really tell but it might have even been a .22lr as they make a hell of a mess on hard targets at point blank range.

I would think that a .22 would ricochet off the other side of the skull and not punch through.

But, LR means long range? right?

So, maybe it would puncture through the other side.

I wish we could find out for sure.
