So far I haven't been able to find out anymore information on this murder, but am still looking.

Pancuronium:

Pancuronium is a very potent muscle relaxant/curaremimetic. The ED95 (i.e. the dose that causes 95% depression of muscle twitch response) is only 60 µg/kg body weight administered intravenously. Muscle relaxation suitable for intubation sets in about 90–120 seconds after administration of the drug. Full muscle paralysis for major surgery is achieved about 2–4 minutes after application. Clinical effects (muscle activity lower than 25% of physiological) last for about 100 minutes. The time needed for full (over 90% muscle activity) recovery after single administration is about 120–180 minutes in healthy adults, but can be protracted to more hours in poor health subjects and when concomitantly administered with other long-acting anesthetics.

This is not an easy drug to procure. Whoever had designs on this lady prepared well in advance.

Yes, she would have.
Pancuronium is in a class of drugs that are paralytic, but not anaesthetic.
When you go in for surgery and are put under, you are actually given 2 different classes of drugs. The first one puts you to sleep (a medically induced coma, actually), while the second drug, like Pancuronium, paralyzes your muscles so that you don't move during the surgery. Otherwise you will do all the typical body movements of sleep i.e. rolling over, limb movements, etc.

My thoughts exactly. This doesn't feel "personal". A jealous boyfriend or someone like that would have been quicker and not done it in such a public Place.
Whoever did this knew how infrequently that particular bathroom was used and felt comfortable working there.
The amount of time taken (including things such as the time for the drug to take effect), he spent no less than 10-15 minutes with her. That's a lot of exposure time in a public place.
He also had to have some medical connections to procure the drug used as it's very seldom, if ever, seen/used outside of an operating room.
He also knew how to keep her from slipping into shock, at least for awhile.
The truly sick thing is that none of the injuries she suffered in and of themselves were fatal.
She died from one or two possibilities-shock, or he gave her more of the drug to paralyze her breathing and she suffocated.
The drug is a very exact thing-too little and it doesn't work, too much and you go into respiratory failure.
He was comfortable handling this medication.

From what you know of the story and what you now know about Pancuronium, what do we know about this killer?

Pancuronium is a weird drug-the effect it has on a person is directly related to how much you're given.
I don't know if the story is real or not, but it's an intriguing way to look at how it might have happened.
