British Backpacker and Canadian Friend Take Bad Pills in Cambodia
The bodies of Natalie Jade Seymour, 22, from Stotfold, Beds, and her friend Abbey Gail Amisola, 27, from Winnipeg, Canada were found at a hostel in the Cambodian city of Kampot. "Both women were suspected to have died of accidental overdoses after taking an over-the-counter medication for diarrhea and vomiting, British newspaper Daily Mail reported using information from the Cambodia Department of Immigration." also "Cambodia party resort of Kampot where Brit backpacker Natalie Jade Seymour died is ‘riddled with dodgy medicines cut with morphine and opiates" "The 22-year-old traveler may have unwittingly taken dodgy over-the-counter medicine for an upset stomach. Two Brits suffered heart attacks and died last year in the same Cambodian resort." Note to self....when travelling there, bring Imodium!  |
