Brazilian Woman Who Was Kidnapped by Criminal Faction Is Found Shot Dead
A woman, identified as Jirlene S., was found dead in Maragogipe, Bahia state, in the early hours of this Saturday (30). According to reports, Jirlene was taken from her own home by members of Bonde do Maluco (BDM), a criminal faction that operates in the area, and executed. Jirlene's was found, with her clothes mostly stripped off, in a location known as a dumping ground for victims of homicides linked to drug trafficking. It is believed that Jirlene's death was ordered as a 'settling of scores', but no motive has yet been confirmed.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
