Brazilian Drug Trafficker and His Security Guards Were Shot Dead by Police

A 36-year-old drug trafficker, Thiago da Silva Folly, also known as 'TH of Maré', and his two security guards were killed in a Military Police operation early this Tuesday morning (13).

He was hiding in a bunker in the Timbau community, which is part of the Maré Complex. He had gotten a tattoo hours before police invaded the favela and killed him.

Thiago had 227 criminal records for homicide, robbery, drug trafficking and other crimes, in addition to 17 outstanding arrest warrants.

Two of Thiago's security guards and closest allies were also killed in the confrontation - they were identified as Daniel Falcão dos Santos ('Gotinha'), and a man identified only as 'Carlinhos' (see last video).

Together with other criminals, Thiago had taken over a community leisure centre and used it as a drug trafficking training centre - it was shut down by police in October 2023.

Thiago was also charged and accused of several murders. He was charged with the 2014 death of soldier Michel Augusto Mikami, and the 2016 death of soldier Hélio Andrade. However, while arrest warrants were issued against him, he avoided capture.

Thiago was also considered responsible for the deaths of two police officers in June 2024 - Jorge Henrique Galdino Cruz and Rafael Wolfgramm Dias. The two were killed during an operation by the corporation in the area.

I assume "No Regerts" refers to his refusal to EVER REGURGITATE anything he has eaten.

But with him dead now, at least his tattooist has avoided being killed for not being able to spell correctly. Wonder if the tattooist had "Regerts"?

I was just commenting on how it looked like a bone flower was all. I found it interesting the way his head opened up in a somewhat symmetrical pattern.
