Brazilian Death Mix
1. On 5th September 2020 in Barreirinha (Brazil), the body of 'E' was found in a forest area. He had been tortured + had his arm + shoulder slashed.   2. On the afternoon of 30th August 2020 in the Tarumã neighbourhood (Brazil), 38 year old D.G.D.S. was murdered with 6 shots. 'D' had been outside his house, playing with his 8 year old son, when a motorbike with 2 men arrived + fired shots. The little boy ran crying into the house + his father died at the scene. 'D', a detainee of the semi-open regime, was the brother-in-law of ‘Nego do Catra’, a drug dealer from CV. A family member stated that 'D' had moved to the neighbourhood 2 months ago, with his wife + son. He had hopes of giving up his criminal lifestyle + it's thought this may be the reason for his death.              3. In the early hours of 24th August 2020 in Itamarati (Brazil), 'T' was murdered by 'S'. Apparently, an old feud between the men was the motivation for the murder. 'T's family have promised to take revenge with their bare hands, if they get to 'S' before the police do.    4. Early on 1st September 2020 in Nova Esperança do Piriá (Brazil), 3 young criminals were left dead during a confrontation with the police. Locals had reported the young men, who were members of CV, to the police as they were consuming drugs + heavily armed. As soon as the police arrived, a shootout began, ending with 3 members of the group dying + the rest of them fleeing the scene. The police seized marijuana, ammunition + 2 guns.    5. On the afternoon of 5th September 2020 in the Japiim 2 neighbourhood (Brazil), 40 year old D.R.D.S. was murdered. 'D' was killed with 7 shots by 2 men who arrived at the scene on a motorbike.

I've never been to Brazil, but I somehow get the impression that corpses on the sidewalk are as common as people not cleaning up after their dogs  |
