Brazilian Bandit Couple Have Career Cut Short

Frankie and Simone had a very difficult time playing nicely with others. Despite Simone being the daughter of a retired military police officer, she just had it in her to be bad. Perhaps she'd have been able to resist the siren-song lure of The Dark Side if it hadn't been for Frankie and his full head of hair and washboard abs. Alas, once their paths had crossed, the very devil of their passion caused carnage and chaos all across Caldeirão Grande.

Unable to stay long in one locale due to the raging inferno of collapsing bridges left behind, the couple moved town per annum. They'd both served a short prison stint a year ago for illegal weapons charges and had only been in their current digs for about six months.

But it seems that straws were burdening the camel's hump in their new home as their wicked old ways continued. A week ago Friday, they were arrested and found in possession of two firearms, a stolen motorcycle, a toolbox of burglar's tools, and several other items described by the police as being of a 'dubious nature.'

They made bail easily enough, but the bust was publicized and it seems that certain items discovered linked the couple with a pair of masked bandits who had been stealing bikes and robbing citizens at gunpoint for the past several months.

Seems the Neighborhood Watch takes a narrow view of such activities. So a few days ago, a silver Fiat Uno arrived in front of their home and three men in hooded sweatshirts and sunglasses got out, each holding a large caliber handgun. Two entered the residence while the third stood watch outside, advising drinkers at the bar next door to drink INSIDE the bar and keep the door closed. When the crowd of drunks resisted, assuming it was a prank of some kind, the door-man fired several shots into the air to hammer home his point. The crowd complied and no one was injured.

Things did not proceed so smoothly for Frankie and Simone however. Frankie ran into the bathroom and tried to hide while abandoning Simone to her fate. She was shot once in the head execution-style in her bedroom, falling prone on the bed and, apparently, really wishing that she had worn The Brown Pants that day.

Frankie's makeshift hideaway and gallant flight were to no avail, as the Hooded Avengers fired several shots through the door and then came in and finished him off with a hail of bullets.

The three killers left the same way they came and, while a police investigation is being carried out (largely because of Simone's father), the locals do not seem too dismayed by the dispatching of these two armed robbers and the cops have received nothing in the way of help or information.
