Re: Brazilian Actress Stabbed 12 Times by Co-star (2023 Update)
She was a beautiful girl who did not deserve to die this way and the sad part is one of her killer becomes a priest and the other finishes law school.

Re: Brazilian Actress Stabbed 12 Times by Co-star (2023 Update)
Just out of curiosity, why is that sad? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to be pleased that two criminals have been reformed after serving prison time and are now both productive members of society? The point of prison is to correct, rehabilitate, and reform people so that they will once again function normally in society...not to punish people and throw away the key. I, for one, am always glad to hear about a criminal who gets a degree in prison and betters himself so he can be a more productive member of society upon his release. It sure beats sitting inside and lifting weights or shooting smack for ten years, then getting released and robbing a liquor store. When two criminals work to reform themselves and do not commit another crime, it means the criminal justice system is actually working...not the opposite. |

I guess my sarcasm was lost on most. I always found it amusing that whenever a 'pretty' lady was the victim of a crime, you'd always have someone commenting on her looks, as if it were that much worse it happened to someone attractive. |

Taking someones life and reforming afterward does not excuse you from doing it in the first place. How will you teach potential murderers that your actions will have consequences? |

I have to agree with you. I believe murdering someone is crossing over that line. When you take someone's life, especially stabbing her in the heart that many times, there should be no second chances.
