Brazil - Officer + 2 Others Shot Dead at a Bar
On the afternoon of 5th January 2020 in Cabanagem (Brazil), a military police sergeant + 2 others were murdered. 51 year old R.V.G. was in a bar with his wife + father-in-law. 2 men on a motorbike arrived outside the bar + fired around 15 shots. 'R', his father-in-law another man were killed by the gunfire. 'R's wife was shot but taken alive to the hospital. None of the victim's belongings were taken. 'R', who served 27 years in the police force, had been receiving death threats for the last couple of days.

I dunno, maybe it's just me... If I had been receiving death threats for the last couple of days, I would keep a low profile, and stay home.
