Stellate lesions around the mouth look more like oral gunshot. I think more of a murder than a kite string.
Those are just blood stains guy. Click on the image and magnify it and you'll see what I mean.

Re: Brazil - Man's Neck Sliced Open by Kite Line

I remember Gayla kites back in the 80's, they were cool to fly and cool designs, never imagined that a kite line could do that kind of damage by accident...

Huh? The only photo I see showing his mouth is #2, and I don't see any stellate lesions. Looks to me more like an injury from hitting the pavement, or simply blood from the obvious neck wound.

" Cause of death: Brazil",

OMG! That made me laugh way too hard. Classic Brazil! (of course I mean no disrespect for the decedent. Bless his heart).

Re: Brazil - Man's Neck Sliced Open by Kite Line

I was reading about something like this just a couple nights ago on Reddit. Basically, for kite fighting, they coat the string with glass to make them stronger. Eventually when the do snap, they fly across roads and can leave a line across at head height, and of course like the guy here, sliced neck!
