Aaah, now I see it! This post auto-mattock-aly got better after that closer look. Sometimes w all the exciting colors,. stains and patterns that appear in death scenes, it's easy to miss the seemingly obvious. |

Ouch. I don’t know which would be the worst to feel. That mattock (thanks William May, I didn’t know it’s correct name) was hit with pretty good accuracy and force. Now how is his mum going to do the gardening?   |

I didn't see it at first, either. As a graduate of the Colombian School of Forensic Medicine and Plumbing, my first thought was that he died of a lightning strike. Silly me! |
